MARCEPTION

There's certain things that baffle me and make me chuckle but this, made me chuckle.
Looks like graffiti artist Kidult tried to be deep and ironic (like his name suggests) in a way that only a teenager on Tumblr wearing an American Apparel ensemble would only dare to do by defacing a Marc Jacobs shop in downtown Manhattan.

The tweeted image and the shirt of the image by Marc Jacobs
And to further justify how deep Kidult is, they themselves tweeted a picture of their masterpiece to the world. Though the amazing and clever people at Marc Jacobs got the last laugh by printing and selling the image Kidult took by placing it on a t-shirt. Haaaaa, I love this.
Though to further add to the what-the-f*ckery, some random site has decided to sell their own version of the shirt, of the shirt. Crazy shit, right? I like to call it, MARCEPTION.

THE GAURDIAN OF FASHION

Like, seriously, I gagged on my eleganza after hearing the news. I know it's been a week or two since the news broke out and I've been too lazy to blog it out but, DUDE, how bitchin' will this collaboration be?!
At this point, none of us really know what the collection will bring but I know I'll be getting my little hands on a necklace or two. I adore Anna and have always kept my eye on her just because she brings joy into my little life.

PORTIONS OF KARL

I have given way to a new start. After Blogger and Google decided to eat my old blog, Portions of Karl, and send it down some black hole where I couldn't retrieve it without calling customer service, I figured, what the hell, let's do it again. So with a well deserved break and with three years of experience swallowed whole, I present, Plastic Prophecies.
With the title inspired by a plastic Comme des Garcons motorcycle jacket, how can I be steered wrong? So sit tight and expect some new shit coming your way. Now off to whore myself out to the internet.
